Rangers arrest 31 suspects in Landhi op

KARACHI: Rangers detained 31 suspects and recovered arms from their custody during targeted operation in Gulshan-e-Bonir, Geo News reported.

According to details, para-military forces, on a tip-off about the presence of accused involved in Landhi blast, launched targeted operation in Gulshan-e-Bonir area of Landhi and arrested 31 suspects.

The arms seized by the forces included 13 Kalashnikovs and others.

The Rangers operation was aided by helicopters. Nearby area was cordoned off before the launch of operation.

Raids were also conducted in Bufferzone, Liaquatabad and Surjani town. Several suspcts were also apprehended during the raids.

It may be noted here that father and son were killed and 18 others arrested in a blast near cigarette cabin in Landhi on Monday.
