Karachi: TTP militant killed in police crackdown

KARACHI: An alleged Taliban militant Qari Bilal has been killed in a police crackdown, police said on Thursday.

Speaking to media at the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, DIG West Javed Odho said that police launched a crackdown following the assassination of social worker Perveen Rehman in which the TTP militant Qari Bilal was killed.

He said Bilal might be involved in Perveen Rehman’s murder.
