LAHORE: Jamat e Islami General Secretary Liaquat Baloch said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and its allied partners left the country with profound negative impacts on the domestic and foreign fronts.

Addressing a corner meeting here in NA-126 constitency, the Jamat e Islami leader said that prospective interim government, judiciary, army and administration should not only help Election Commission in holding free and fair elections but also limit themselves to abide by the orders and code of conducts.

Baloch urged all the political parties to issue party tickets to those who are upto the standard defined in article 62 and 63 of the constitutions so that exisiting leadership and system could be changed.

He also asked voters to reject corrupt people in forthcoming general elections.
