CJ takes notice of CDA Chairman's transfer

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry Sunday took notice of the transfer of Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA), Tahir Shahbaz and court notices have been sent in this connection to Secretary Interior and Secretary Establishment.

The court has also dispatched a notice to the existing Chairman CDA Tariq Pirzada.

The Supreme Court observed that the transfer of CDA Chairman was tantamount to violation of the court’s order. “No official can be transferred before completion of his stipulated tenure without any reason,” it added.
