Karachi: TTP activist killed in police encounter

KARACHI: Police claimed to have killed an activist of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in an encounter in Pirabad area of Karachi, Geo News reported.

DIG West said here Monday that an activist of TTP identified as Nadeem Mehsood was killed during an encounter with police in Pirabad area, adding Nadeem is said to be brother of local TTP commander.

Police have also taken an accused in custody after the encounter.
