ISLAMABAD: Federal Tax Ombudsman Shoaib Suddle Wednesday had a contempt of court notice served on the Auditor General of Pakistan (AGP) Muhamamd Akhter Buland Rana for withholding judicial allowances, sources said.

According to the sources, Muhammad Akhter Buland Rana had withheld the allowances of the Federal Tax Ombudsman. Taking notice of the same, Shoaib Suddle issued a contempt of court notice to the AGP, summoning him for March 22.

Talking to Geo News, the AGP confirmed receipt of the legal notice and that he would take action on the same after consulting his legal team.
