PML-Q hails Khoso's appointment as caretaker PM

LAHORE: President Pakistan Muslim League-Q, Senator Ch Shujat Hussain and Senior Central leader Ch Pervaiz Elahi Sunday hailed the appointment of Justice (Retd) Mir Hazar Khan Khoso as caretaker prime minister, saying that his appointment will augur well for democracy in the country.

"The caretaker chief minister in Punjab should also have same credentials like the caretaker prime minister", PML-Q leadership while addressing the media and party ticket aspirants at the Muslim League House here Sunday.

Ch Pervaiz Elahi said the PML-N never respected democratic mandate of other political parties, adding that Nawaz League did not believe in democracy.

The PML-Q senior central leader said the PML-Q would surprise its political adversaries in the general elections 2013, adding that the PML-Q government delivered more than the three tenures of the PML-N in Punjab.

He said the PML-Q had always pursued a path of truth and justice in politics, adding that the PML-Q would fulfill all its promises with the masses like its past tenures in power.

He expressed the hope that keeping up to his past performances, Mir Hazar Khan Khoso would perform well as caretaker prime minister.

PML-Q secretary general Mushahid Hussain Syed and Kamil Ali Agha also spoke on the occasion. Other PML-Q leaders including Moonis Elahi, Ch Zaheeruddin, Tariq Bashir Cheema, Nasrullah Dareshak and
