KARACHI: A principal of a private school located in Baldia Town was killed and six students were injured in a hand grenade attack on Saturday morning, Geo News reported.
According to police, unknown miscreants hurled a hand grenade at a school when a large number of students had gathered to collect result. As result of blast, the school principal identified as Abdur Rasheed was killed while six students were also wounded.
Abdur Rasheed, who belongs to Awami National Party (ANP), was reportedly receiving threats.
The dead body and injured were shifted to Civil Hospital while law enforcement officials have cordoned off the area.
