LAHORE: The mobile and wireless phone services have been shut in parts of Lahore in the wake of Jamiat Ulema-I-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) rally in the provincial capital.

The JUI-F will stage the rally near the Minar-e-Pakistan and mobile and Vphone services have been suspended as part of security arrangements.

Rawi road, Karim Park, Minar-e-Pakistan, Lari Adda and Badami Bagh area was affected by the suspension of cellular services.

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority said that the services would remain suspended till 10:00 pm.
