KARACHI: CID Police Wednesday arrested two alleged terrorists belonging to banned outfit Lashkar e Jhangvi (LeJ) and recovered arms and explosive materials from their possession.

Speaking to media during a press conference here, SSP CID Fayaz Khan said that the accused were involved in the target killings of doctors including Dr Sibte Jaffer Zaidi and police personnel.

The SSP said that both the accused, affiliated with Naeem Bukhari Group, were arrested from Surjani town area. Weapons, 10 kilograms of explosive material and caps carrying cameras were also recovered, he added.

The accused with their faces covered were also presented before the media.
