Quetta: Lawyers boycott courts against kidnapping of Salahuddin Mengal

QUETTA: The lawyers fraternity is boycotting court proceedings in Balochistan in protest against kidnapping of Supreme Court lawyer and former advocate general Salahuddin Mengal, Geo News reported on Thursday.

The Balochistan Bar Association, High Court Bar Association and other lawyer bodies announced to boycott the court proceedings against the kidnapping.

Balochistan Bar Association President Rehmatullah condemned the kidnapping of Mengal and said that the BBA would decide its future of course of action during its general body meeting to be held today.

Mengal was kidnapped on Wednesday when he was returning home from the High Court along with his younger brother.
