PESHAWAR: An earthquake measuring 6.4-magnitude on the Richter scale, hit various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa causing panic among the resident, Geo News reported.

No loss of life and property has been reported in the tremor.

The tremor was felt in Swat, Shangla, Bunir, Malakand, Kohat Chitral, Gizdar and adjacent areas.

The epicenter of the quake was border areas of Afghanistan and Tajikistan.
