KARACHI: Police on Saturday directed owners of motorcycles and other vehicles to get them registered in their own names by April 18, Geo News reported Saturday.

Addressing a press conference Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) East Imran Shaukat said that the decision has been taken to initiate action against vehicles running on open letters and have not been registered in the names of original owners.

He said that the move was aimed at overcoming crimes. The officer appealed to the people to get the vehicles registered by April 18 to avoid any inconvenience.
