Gas pipeline blown up in Nasirabad

DERA MURAD JAMALI: An 18-inch natural gas pipeline was blown up on Sunday morning in Goth Mir Muhammad Bugti area of Nasirabad district.

SHO Zulfiqar Pandrani told APP that unknown men had attached explosive materials with gas pipeline supplying natural gas to Uch power plant which detonated it.

Gas supply was suspended to Uch power plant causing a reduction more than 525 megawatts of power generation.Many areas of the country deprived of electricity.

The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) team of Shikarpur reached the site to repair damaging gas pipeline.

Law enforcement agency along with police team also came on the spot. They cordoned off the entire area and started efforts to arrest outlaws.
