PESHAWAR: A policeman was injured as two blasts with minutes of interval ripped through Charsadda Road here on Sunday, Geo News reported.

According to sources, the first blast occurred when a power generator of a private bank blew up.

As the police personnel and media teams reached the spot of the blast, a second blast occurred near the same spot. As a result, a policeman was injured while windows of Geo TV’s vehicle were shattered.

The policeman was rushed to a nearby hospital.
