KHAIRPUR: Manzoor Hussain Ansari, a lawyer who objected to the nomination papers of former Sindh Chief Minster Qaim Ali Shah, was subjected to severe tortured by unknown men on Wednesday, Geo News reported.
Mr Ansari, President Khairpur Bar Association, was attacked when he reached Sukkur bench of the Sindh High Court.
He was beaten up by at least nine people clad in lawyers’ suits. Ansari accused people loyal to former Sindh chief minister of torturing him.
He demanded of the Chief Election Commissioner to take notice of the attack and reject nomination paper of Shah.
