KARACHI: Four persons were killed in different firing incidents across the metropolis while one was injured in a cracker attack in Malir Thursday, Geo News reported.

According to police, two men were gunned down at Bashir Chowk in New Karachi who were identified as Moakkal and Ikram. Their bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

In Kharadar, unknown gunmen killed a man aged 45 while another man was shot dead in Shah Faisal Colony no.2.

Also, a man named Zamarrud Hussain was injured when some miscreants hurled a cracker in Jaffar-e-Tayyar Society area of Malir in the wee hours of Thursday morning.

A nearby building was also partially damaged due to the explosion caused by the cracker.

Police told that the cracker attack aimed to spread panic in the area while the crater created in the ground depicted that the explosion was of minor nature.
