KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has filed a petition in Sindh High Court (SHC), seeking deferment in the printing of voters’ lists of 11 constituencies, Geo News reported.
It is contended in the plea that printing of voters’ lists in these constituencies should be deferred till the announcement of judgment on a pending case relating to delimitation of new constituencies in Karachi.
Later, the Sindh High Court issued notices to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for tomorrow (Friday) on the MQM’s petition.
