Lahore: Firemen save petrol pump by dousing tanker fire

LAHORE: The firemen late Thursday night thwarted a major destruction by bringing an oil tanker fire under control saving the petrol pump it was parked at, Geo News reported.

According to initial reports the incident was reported from a fuel outlet located near Butt Chowk on College Road.

Rescuers as well as fire brigade reached on time a doused the fire before it could spread further.

There was no word on the casualties, if any, so far.

What caused the fire to erupt is yet to be known. More details are awaited.
