Karachi: Police crackdown yields drugs, guns, suspects

KARACHI: New Karachi police Friday night cracked down on the crime-hardened outlaws in Khameso Goth and eventually brought back a dozen of suspects to the stationhouse for further interrogation, Geo News reported.

Per reports, the raid also resulted in the confiscation of narcotics as well as weapons of all sizes and calibres ranging from handguns to assault rifles.

The late night operation is part of the drive to take as many violent criminals off the streets as the police could to put some brakes on the crime spree in the city.
