Multan: Family beats man to death, who gunned down bride-to-be

MULTAN: A bride-to-be was shot dead in front of her family here on Saturday night by a man who walked uninvited into a ceremony a day before the marriage carrying a gun, Geo News reported.

The tragic incident was reported from Basti Malook a small town near Multan.

According to sources the spurned lover, Asghar, who was also desperate to marry the deceased girl crashed into Mehandi ceremony (an important and traditional pre-wedding ritual) and shot her repeatedly, killing her on the spot.

However, the unstable lovesick shooter was immediately restrained by the outraged guests, who, without even waiting for the police, beat him to death settling the score then and there.

Police have opened investigation into the case.
