Musharraf announces APML’s election manifesto

ISLAMABAD: All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Chief Pervez Musharraf announcing his party's manifesto vowed to take the country out of darkness and put it on the path of progress and prosperity.

Giving details of the manifesto at a news conference here Monday‚ the APML Chief said there is a great need to rid the country of terrorism and extremism.

The general public is under the siege of disappointment and there is need to take measures to end this dilemma, he added.
