MULTAN: It was a big day for Pakistan Muslim League–Nawaz (PML-N) leader, Sheikh Waqas Akram as an election tribunal on Wednesday gave him a go-ahead to contest Election 2013 from NA-89 Jhang IV constituency, Geo News reported.

Earlier, a returning officer had rejected former federal minister for education’s nomination papers after his A-level certificate could not be verified from the concerned institution.
