KARACHI: Awami National Party (ANP) chief Asfandyar Wali Khan has revealed that Taliban started attacking them after he refused to provide them passage for hitting Punjab.
In an exclusive interview with Geo News, ANP chief said ‘Taliban leader Fazlullah, in a telephone call, had asked me to provide him passage for attacking Punjab and I had refused to do so. TTP started attacking ANP after my refusal’.
Asfandyar Wali said no one except President Asif Ali Zardari and MQM chief Altaf Hussain called him and condemned the attack on Haji Ghulam Ahmed Bilour.
He said he wanted to inform those who are silent at this time that if its our turn today, tomorrow will be theirs.
