Terror bid foiled in Karachi, suicide jackets recovered

KARACHI: Crime Investigation Department (CID) police on Monday arrested an alleged terrorist and recovered suicide jackets during an action in Ittehad town of Karachi, Geo News reported.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) CID Chaudhry Aslam said police conducted raid in Itthehad town area of Baldia town and arrested a terrorist identified as Asad alias Bhai Jan.

The accused had intentions of terrorism in Karachi, he said and added that police seized two suicide jackets, two hand grenades and a 9mm pistol from his possession.
