PESHAWAR: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman has warned that situation would deteriorate and problems increase manifold if elections could not hold on time, Geo News reported.

Addressing a public meeting in Shahbaz Khel here Tuesday, Fazl said the past government did nothing to eliminate corruption and lawlessness in the country.

He held former president Gen. (retd) Pervez Musharraf responsible for prevailing situation in the country and said people were reaping what Musharraf had sown.

The JUI-F chief said he would continue playing his role for peace in FATA.
