PPP observes day of mourning over Lyari killings

KARACHI: President of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Karachi Division Qadir Patel has announced to observe day of mourning over killing incidents in Lyari.

Addressing a press conference in Clifton, Qadir Patel said that the conspiracy is being hatched to provoke PPP and to please who wanted to escape elections.

He said that they are democratic people and would combat the tactics with democratic ways. He further said that the residents of Lyari are being given punishment for supporting the PPP.

Those talking about the Taliban or the snatching of their mandate are finding ways to escape elections, Patel added.
