KARACHI: Unidentified assailants hurled a hand grenade at a house located in Gulshan e Iqbal area of the metropolis and fled away; however, no casualty was reported.

According to the police, the unidentified assailants riding motorbike attacked a house near Bait ul Mukarram mosque with the hand grenade.

The police said that the attack was carried out at the house of a carpet shop owner. It further said that his shop was also assaulted with the grenade two weeks ago.

The sources said that the shop owner was demanded to pay extortion money, and over non-payment his shop and house were targeted.
