ECP has failed in providing security to candidates: Ghafoor Haidri

QUETTA: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam- Fazl (JUI-F) Secretary General, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri on Friday said that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has failed to provide security to the candidates, Geo News reported.

Addressing ‘Islam Zindabad Conference’ here, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri pledged that after coming to power, his party would turn Pakistan into a welfare state, where there would be peace and people would get their rights.

He said that foolproof security, which the ECP promised, was not visible anywhere, and political leaders’ houses, election offices remain unprotected. He urged upon the government for taking immediate action.
