Rangers’ Rabia City search operation ends, 11 held

KARACHI: The search operation, which started Thursday night at Rabia City, Gulistan-e-Jauhar here, ended this afternoon after finally eleven suspects were arrested and weapons recovered from them, Geo News reported.

Earlier reports said that all entry/exit roads were closed, while none was allowed to come out or enter into the housing complex during the search operation. The operation was conducted on a tip-off that the activists of a political party have captured a hospital and converted it into its party office, which the Rangers conducting operation got vacated and arrested 11 persons over there recovering weapons from their possession.

On the other hand, Mohajir Qaumi Movement spokesman said that Rangers during operation have taken their candidate for NA-255, Mushtaque Ali into custody during the search operation.
