LAHORE: A local court has summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on April 30 for taking out rally without permission, Geo News reported.

PTI Lahore president Abdul Aleem Khan appeared before District Returning Officer District Session Judge Nazeer Ahmed Gujiana and prayed that Mr Khan be exempted from appearing in person, as he was busy in election campaign.

The judge said that Imran Khan should appear before the court even on Sunday. Aleem Khan assured the court that the PTI chief would appear before April 30.
