Tribal areas being treated like British Colonies: Justice Khosa

PESHAWAR: Chief Justice Peshawar High Court (PHC) Justice Dost Khosa on Saturday said that tribal areas were being treated like that of British colonies, Geo News reported.

Addressing the ceremony of Fata lawyers’ forum, Justice Khosa stressed need for changing the entire system of Fata.

The parliamentary system is present in Fata, however, the law makers are unable to legislate for this region, the chief justice regretted.

CJ PHC said there was need to unearth the reasons that had pushed the guards of borders (tribal people) to the blood swamp.
