SC retains appointment of Deedar Hussin Shah declared void

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court Monday disposed of the review petition relating to the declaration of Deedar Hussain Shah’s appointment as NAB Chairman void, Geo News reported.

SC five-member bench headed by the Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was hearing the review petition here.

Federation lawyer Hafeez Pirzada said that he hasn’t been given directives by the federation in this regard.

Later, the larger bench decided to retain SC earlier decision annulling the appointment of Justice Deedar Hussain as NAB Chairman.
