ISLAMABAD: The intelligence agencies have instructed the law enforcement agencies to beef up the security during and soon after the May 11 general elections, Geo News reported Tuesday.
According to intelligence reports, it is feared that the election rallies and public gatherings can be attacked by the terrorists before and after elections.
Therefore, in view of terrorism threats, the law enforcement agencies have been advised to undertake foolproof security arrangements to avert any untoward situation.
The candidates taking part in elections and carrying out campaigns have also been instructed to remain cautious.
