LAHORE: Karachi and Lahore police on Wednesday jointly launched an operation killing three alleged target killers in Lahore's Satukatla area, Geo News reported.

According to reports, local police along with a team from Karachi’s Darakhshan police conducted raid, killing three target killers from Karachi. DIG Amir Sheikh said that the three accused were also involved in a botched attempt to kidnap a woman from Karachi’s Clifton shopping mall.

He said that an accused identified as Alamgir was killed and his wife was arrested during the operation.

The officer said that Karachi police also raided several addresses in Jhang district of Punjab to arrest the accused.

Two policemen were also killed during exchange of fire between the accused and the law enforcers.
