KARACHI: More than 154,000 staff will perform election duty at 14,980 polling stations across Sindh province, Geo News reported.

As per the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) statistics, 14,980 polling stations and 46,461 voting booths have been set up, while 14,980 presiding officers, 92,922 assistant presiding officers and 46,461 polling officers are performing election duties.

At 4,215 polling stations of Karachi, 60,298 polling staff is deployed for election duty.

The total number of voters in the province is 18.9117 million and in the provincial capital Karachi this number is 7.179 million.

The voters will exercise their right of vote on May 11.
