Lahore: LDA plaza inferno toll jumps to 22

LAHORE: Death toll from LDA Plaza fire rose to 22 as rescue workers recovered more bodies from the building on Friday, Geo News reported.

It took firefighters 40 hours to extinguish the blaze which erupted on the seventh floor of the plaza on Thursday.

A spokesman for the local administration said that six people were being treated at a local hospital.
