KARACHI: The Sindh government has expressed its inability to hold re-polling at the few polling stations in the National Assembly constituency Karachi NA-250 on May 19.
According to Geo News, the interim government has written a letter to the Election Commission of Pakistan, expressing its inability to hold the re-election. It also suggested that an all parties conference (APC) of political parties should be convened.
The government said that it could not hold the election owing to security threats.
The ECP had ordered re-polling at few polling stations on NA-250 after some political parties lodged strong protest over polling process in the constituency.
