ISLAMABAD: Rawalpindi Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has reserved its decision on the bail petition of former president Pervez Musharraf in the judges’ detention case on Wednesday, Geo News reported.

ATC Judge Kausar Abbas Zaidi was hearing Musharaff’s bail petition in judges’ detention case here.

During the hearing, Pervez Musharraf’s lawyer made a plea that if there was any order issued for judges’ detention then it should be produced in the court.

While Prosecutor Aamir Nadeem said that Pervez Musharraf detaining 60 judges including the chief justice stopped them from performing their duties and later former prime minister Yusuf Raza Gilani ordered for their release, which proves that they were detained and stopped from working. He further said it’s a terrorism case against Pervez Musharraf and the bail could not be granted in a crime liable for punishment of 10 years imprisonment.

The Judge after hearing the arguments from both sides reserved the decision on bail petition.
