KARACHI: At least six people lost their lives in the ongoing wave of violence in Karachi, Geo News reported on Sunday.

A man was killed in Machar Colony area near Saddam Chowk within the remits of Mauripur police station.

Two bodies were found near the Super Highway Gaddap City. Both the deceased were aged between 35 to 45 years while their identities were yet to be ascertained.

A man identified as Sajid was gunned down and another injured in Agra Taj colony. The injured was identified as Rashid.

Shaukat, 28, was shot dead near Star Ground in Landhi. A body was found in Bhittayi Abad near the Karachi airport. The deceased identified as Tariq Jameel was shot in the head.

A spokesman for the Ahl-e-Sunnat Wal Jammat claimed that the deceased was associated with his party.
