ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission has dissolved 14 election tribunals across the country, setting up as many new tribunals, Goe News reported on Tuesday.

According to the ECP 13 new tribunals would be set up, taking the number to 27. It said that number of tribunals was increased to 10, which previously stood at five in Punjab.

There were three tribunals each in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which are now six in each of the two provinces. The number of tribunals had risen to five in Balochistan.
