DCO Lahore tells US consulate to remove its illegal pillar, doors

LAHORE: District Coordination Officer (DCO) Lahore has written a letter to American Consulate, telling them to remove illegal gate’s pillar and doors inside the consulate within 48 hours.

According to the DCO, the letter was written under the directives of Punjab Home Department and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Meanwhile, US Consulate spokesman told Geo news that all communication took place through ministry of foreign affairs and up till then no letter was received from the ministry.

On the other hand, DCO Rizwan Mehboob said the letter has been sent to chief protocol officer of the ministry of foreign affairs and US consulate would get it tomorrow.
