Peace committee member shot dead in Tank

TANK: A member of Peace Committee was killed while another sustained injuries in a firing incident that took place here on Sunday.

The incident took place when unidentified assailants opened fire at two members of the peace committee, resultantly, one of them lost his live while another sustained wounds.

Police has kicked off the investigation.

Meanwhile, a remote control bomb targeting a vehicle of security forces exploded on Miranshah road near Esha Check Post in Bannu, injuring two personnel.

The injured were rushed to the hospital.
