Protest against power outages in Karachi

KARACHI: The residents of Aisha Manzil took to the streets and staged a protest demonstration against the power outages here on Sunday, Geo News reported.

According to details, the protestors had blocked the ‘Shahrah-e-Pakistan’ by burning tyres, causing suspension of traffic on roads and arteries from Sohrab Goth to Liaquatabad.

Later, the police successfully dispersed the protestors and cleared the road for vehicular traffic.
