PESHAWAR: The oath-taking ceremony for members of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cabinet will be held on June 5.

The announcement to be above effect came after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) finalized names for the KPK cabinet.

The new cabinet members will be sworn in after allocation of the portfolios for provincial ministers.

The PTI-led coalition government in KPK will comprise Jamat-e-Islami (JI), Qaumi Watan Party (QWT) and Awami Jamhori Ittehad (AJI) as allies.

The PTI has bagged eight out of fifteen provincial assembly portfolios and PTI has named six of its ministers. They are: Shaukat Yousufzai, Shahzaman, Atif Khan, Ali Ameen Gandapur, Dr Amjad and Israrullah Gandapur.

According to sources, Shaukat Yousufzai is expected to get the portfolio of Information while Israrullah Gandapur that of Law. Names of two more of PTI ministers are likely to be announced soon.

The allies including JI and QWP have been given three portfolios including one significant slot each.
