KARACHI: Police have registered a case against the Rangers personnel allegedly involved in the killing of a citizen in Shah Faisal Colony area of the metropolis, Geo News reported.

According to police, a murder case 148/2013 has been registered against five to six paramilitary soldiers on the behalf of Abdul Salam, a close relative of deceased identified as Ghulam Haider.

The killing invited public wrath in the city with people staging protest demonstration outside the Karachi Press Club late Tuesday night.
