President phones Balochistan CM, gets updates on 2 days’ events

KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari Sunday made a phone call to Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Dr Abdul Malik and apprised himself on the details pertaining to the events over the past two days in the restive province.

The President assured the CM Malik of the federal government’s full support, saying the entire nation was in grief over the tragic events in Balochistan.

President Zardari also enquired after the people who were injured in the violent incidents.

Meanwhile, according to sources, President Asif Zardari dined out on Sunday night at a local restaurant. Interestingly, the President himself took control of the steering of the car to travel to the restaurant.
