MQM workers disappearance case: SHC seeks detailed report from police

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) Tuesday ordered police to present a detailed report in connection with the alleged disappearance of Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) workers, Geo News reported.

The MQM had submitted a petition in the court, stating that its nine workers had gone missing and blamed law enforcement agencies for ‘keeping them in illegal detention’.

The party asked the court to play its role towards ensuring the safety of its workers’ lives and their recovery, the petition added.

Later, the court adjourned the hearing of the case till July 3.
