KARACHI: Seven people have lost their lives in seperate incidents of violence in the southern metropolis since last night, Geo News reported.

According to police, unknown assailants opened fire on a vehicle killing its driver Imran in the Khwaja Ajmer Nagri police station.

Another person was shot dead while two others were injured near Korangi crossing, Bhittai Colony. The body and the injured were shifted to the hospital, where the deceased was identified as Qaisar and the wounded as Khalid and Nasir.

Two bodies have been recovered from Landhi Bhains Colony and Juna Market in the old city area, while a body of a young boy was found near Machchar Colony stop on Mauripur Road – the boy was first tortured and then shot dead, the body has been shifted to Civil Hospital for autopsy.

A minor girl lost her life in Malir after being hit by a stray bullet.
