Rs190bn Balochistan budget likely today

QUETTA: The Balochistan assembly will present its annual budget for the Fiscal year 2013-14 today. The budget is expected to have a total outlay of Rs. 190 billion, Geo News reported.

Sources in the finance ministry say the 2013-14 Balochistan budget could be a deficit budget.

In the budget, Rs. 23 billion have been proposed for education, Rs. 15 billion for law and order while Rs. 11 billion will be earmarked for health.

Provincial government-employees’ salaries are likely to be raised by 10 percent in the budget.
